MCC Verstraete US facility ISO9001 and BRC-packaging certified
In summer 2019, MCC Verstraete USA facility (located in Batavia, OH) achieved the ISO9001 and the BRC Packaging certificates, two official credentials proving its capability in terms of quality as well as food safety.
Only a year before, MCC Verstraete started producing in mold labels in the US. From the very beginning, the center focus was producing flawless processable labels of impeccable quality for the US market. To realize this, the same machines and processes - as commissioned and well-known in the Belgian mother facility - were installed in the US plant and the newly recruited operators received on the job training in Belgium. A team of MCC Verstraete experts guided them during the first months of production in the US.
Fast forward to summer 2019. To prove our endeavors and dedication concerning quality of production and food safety, a certification trajectory for ISO9001 and BRC Packaging started. ISO9001 is your guarantee for a high quality functioning; BRC Packaging ensures a food-safe operation and product.
During 4 days in July, two auditors inspected the production area and questioned the operators, the processes and the management systems behind it. The MCC Verstraete US facility was complimented for its “clean working environment with high educated and cooperative people” and was awarded with the ISO9001 and the BRC Packaging certificate.
The US team, guided by deployment manager Max Uyttebrouck and plant manager John Northlich, can be very proud to have achieved these quality and food safety credentials after just 1 year of production. It’s an acknowledgement of the excellent work they perform on a daily basis, printing high quality in mold labels for a broad range of customers.

By obtaining these certificates in the USA, MCC Verstraete guarantees that, wherever its labels are produced, customers can be reassured of high standard quality and food safe in mold labels for their packaging.
