It's all in the packaging
Versele-Laga was looking for a high-quality feed barrel to preserve their bulk packaged foods longer and better. And that's when the partnership between the three excellencies came in handy. "Due to the technical evolution of recent years, it is perfectly possible to make large packaging in IML," says Marcel Slinkman, Area Sales Manager at Dijkstra Plastics. Stijn Quintyn, Regional Sales Manager at MCC Verstraete, adds: "A large 60 liter feed barrel brings an additional technical challenge. Fortunately, Dijkstra Plastics has that in-house expertise."
IML for an ecological result
IML is more sustainable and less polluting. Joram Knol, Graphic Designer & IML specialist within Dijkstra Plastics confirms: "IML is more beautiful, of better quality and you can print photorealistic images with it. It all looks much sharper. We also had to take into account the dark color of the packaging. Fortunately, MCC Verstraete can print white four times, so the white really stands out. That's how we obtain the perfect result. ”
The power of IML
It is much nicer than screen printing or off-set printing. The feedback from our customers has been glowing. To some it looks like an ordinary plastic barrel, but to us it is our signboard. We provide quality animal feed. And we want to see that reflected in our packaging. The cooperation with the two partners is also running smoothly. Do we have a problem?
